Company Description

We are an early-stage consulting firm that supports entrepreneurs start and stay in business. Our work involves market research, deal sourcing, outreach, proposal development, and execution support.

Our goal for this year is to
increase revenue
through online business discovery, consulting engagements, and acquisition support. We are looking for a highly capable
Business Development Coordinator
to work closely with the Founder to make this happen.

Role Description

The Business Development Coordinator will be responsible for
identifying opportunities, generating leads, pursuing prospects, preparing proposals, and supporting day-to-day business execution
.

This role requires someone who is
extremely proactive
, highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently. You will be expected to think like an owner, not an assistant.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in managing B2B social media (preferably in consulting, education, or professional services).
  • Strong internet research and lead-sourcing skills
  • Excellent written communication (especially proposals and emails)
  • Highly proactive with strong initiative
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment
  • Results-driven and revenue-focused
  • Excellent writing and communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPI data and optimize accordingly.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship, consulting, or small business growth is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find and source leads, clients, and business opportunities online
  • Research businesses, industries, and market opportunities
  • Proactively pursue prospects and follow up on leads
  • Support client acquisition and deal execution
  • Write and prepare proposals and business documents
  • Track leads and opportunities from start to close
  • Support day-to-day business and operational needs
  • Take initiative and move tasks forward without constant supervision

Technical Requirements

  • Strong internet research skills (Google, LinkedIn, online marketplaces, databases)
  • Experience with lead generation and online sourcing
  • Ability to write clear, professional proposals and emails
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and trackers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple leads and tasks
  • Proficient with basic business tools (Google Workspace, Docs, Sheets, email tools)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must have
    reliable internet access

Compensation Details

Contract Duration:
3 Months (with potential extension)

  • Base Pay:
    ₦180,000 (paid monthly)
  • Performance Bonus:
    ₦50,000 awarded based on:

Competitive base pay
plus performance-based incentives

Bonuses tied to qualified leads, closed deals, and revenue generated
