Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead the end-to-end preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring alignment with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial data across departments, ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure full compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Prepare financial statements and coordinate with external auditors throughout audit engagements.
Financial Analysis & Business Insights
- Deliver clear, insightful financial analysis to senior leadership, highlighting performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and support strategic business decisions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Monitoring
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, collaborating with business units to align financial targets with organizational goals.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate interpretation of variances and timely escalation of issues.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Support executive management with detailed reports and presentations for the board, investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams to enhance financial reporting processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day finance team operations, ensuring efficient workflows, adherence to deadlines, and a high standard of professional excellence.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are a strong advantage).
- 6–8 years of proven experience in financial reporting, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant financial regulations.
- High proficiency with accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced Excel.
