Job summary

Manage our financial reporting and accounting operations during the transition to fully integrated FinTech solutions while maintaining compliance with banking regulations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage real-time cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Sage, etc.)
  • Integrate traditional banking systems with modern fintech solutions
  • Ensure seamless data flow between all operational platforms
  • Perform daily reconciliation of USSD, mobile app, and agent banking transactions
  • Maintain accuracy across multiple payment channels and platforms
  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure complete audit trails
  • Optimize tax efficiencies for green lending and specialized products
  • Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including VAT, WHT, and corporate tax
  • Manage tax planning strategies for digital transformation investments
  • Financial Reporting- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements for CBN and NDIC
  • Provide management accounting information for decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) required
  • Minimum 4 years in a financial institution, accounting, or similar environment
  • Experience with both traditional banking and fintech operations
  • Knowledge of microfinance accounting principles and regulations
  • Proficiency in modern accounting software and cloud-based solutions
  • Experience with fintech payment platforms (Flutterwave, Paystack, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities
  • Understanding of CBN and NDIC reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian GAAP
  • Experience with regulatory returns and compliance reporting

Remuneration: NGN 250, ,000 per month + benefits.
