We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Senior Associate

Job Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • Our Client is seeking highly skilled Senior Associate to lead client engagements, manage audits, drive tax compliance, and support strategic projects.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and leadership to ensure quality service delivery across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct back-duty tax audits and recovery processes
  • File VAT and Withholding Tax returns
  • Analyze client data and records for audit or advisory purposes
  • Prepare and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations
  • Develop business proposals and tender bids
  • Design and implement risk-based audit programs
  • Lead audit engagements and supervise team members
  • Review financial statements and prepare management letters
  • Follow up on audit issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide audit opinions and highlight control weaknesses.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Upper or Upper Credit
  • 5–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Master's degree is an added advantage
  • ICAN or ACCA membership is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint, and Data Analysis
  • Strong work ethic: honest, accurate, diligent, smart, and a positive attitude.
