IITA is a member of CGIAR, a global agriculture research partnership for a food secure future.We Are Recruiting To Fill The Position BelowJob Title: Research Assistant – Facility MaintenanceRef No: STS2025-14Location: Ibadan, OyoEmployment Type: ContractContract: 6 months' renewableDutiesConduct routine inspections and maintenance of research infrastructure, including animal housing, water systems, and equipment.Assist in repairs and upkeep of farm and laboratory facilities.Ensure safety standards are maintained across all operational areas.Support logistics for field and lab activities, including equipment setup and transport.Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.QualificationsHND / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture or related field with a minimum of three (3) years' experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.CompetenciesThe Ideal Candidate MustHave strong organizational and communication skills.Be experienced in facility maintenance and basic data handling.Be familiar with digital tools for data entry and reporting (e.g., Excel, Google Forms).Have the ability to work independently and in a team setting.BenefitsWe offer highly competitive salary with equally attractive benefits and excellent working conditions in a pleasant campus environment.Application Closing Date23rd October, 2025.Don't Keep Kindly Share:
