Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage and report all financial activities of the lounge. This includes budgeting, financial planning, audits, and daily reconciliations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Record all financial transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and monthly financial reports
  • Reconcile daily cash flow, bank statements, and internal records.
  • Highlight discrepancies and ensure all financial data is error-free.
  • Manage and process fund disbursement for purchases, vendor payments, and employee salaries.
  • Maintain proper documentation and approval processes for all payments.
  • Oversee daily sales reconciliation and bank lodgments.
  • Liaise with the external tax consultant to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
  • Maintain a tax compliance calendar and keep management informed of upcoming deadlines.
  • Review financial records to highlight true taxable values and ensure financial transparency.
  • Collaborate with the team to track inventory across all departments.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to manage inventory costs and prevent losses.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage
  • High integrity, accuracy, and discretion
  • Must live within Lagos Mainland (Ikosi/Ketu/Magodo preferred)
