Mixologist

We need an experienced Mixologist for Hotel Lounge in Lekki

Mixologist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ordering and Inventory Management: Monitors and manages the ordering of all beer, wine, spirits, and bar tools and equipment.
• Menu Knowledge: Has full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, costing, and preparation methods.
• Fresh Ingredients: Maintains stock, prepares, cures, and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Beer Menu Creation: Drafts beer menus in coordination with Brewpub Brewery staff.
• Stock Maintenance: Ensures that appropriate stock/par level of all bar items is constantly maintained.
• Glassware and Presentation: Utilizes appropriate stemware/glassware as required by company standards, polishes glassware, and keeps bar supplies stocked.
• Creativity and Innovation: Pushes the limits of what mixed drinks can be, using expert knowledge to create innovative drinks and cocktails that explore the boundaries of flavors.

Mixologist Requirement

• Education: University and College Degrees in Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Culinary, Food Service Management, Education are preferable
• Skills: Desired skills include knowledge of beer, a la carte menu creation, various liquors, wines available at the club, spirits, wine POS systems, garnishes, and cleanliness.
• Experience: A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role, preferably including 5-star experience. Proactive attitude as marketer of the outlets is essential. Knowledge of European wines and the ability to train and develop staff are also valuable.
