Fieldbase's Enterprise Business is expanding fast — and we're looking for a sharp, technically grounded commercial professional to take ownership of our growing
eStore
and drive online-led revenue across Nigeria and beyond.

About the Role
As our
E-Commerce & Technical Sales Lead
, you will manage and grow Fieldbase's online store, engage directly with customers, and convert technical enquiries into revenue. You'll blend product knowledge with sales instinct to help customers choose the right solutions across:
• LEO satellite systems (Starlink), routers & switches
• Wi-Fi / wireless access points
• Cables and structured networking accessories
• Inverters, MPPT charge controllers, BMS systems
• Off-grid and backup power equipment
Your work directly shapes Fieldbase's growth trajectory and ensures our eStore becomes the go-to platform for connectivity and power products across Africa.
What You'll Do
eStore Leadership
- Manage and continuously improve the Fieldbase eStore — listings, product information, pricing accuracy, and customer experience.
- Promote the eStore in collaboration with marketing and the web development team.
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Respond to client enquiries and provide expert guidance across networking and power systems.
- Identify potential customers using internal data: historical purchases, installation reports, and utilisation insights.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
Account Management & Retention
- Maintain ongoing communication with key customers; ensure they see Fieldbase as their default supplier.
- Track and follow up on open opportunities and dormant accounts.
Market Intelligence
- Provide insights on product trends and demand to inform procurement, stocking, and vendor engagement decisions.
- Engage vendors to deepen product knowledge and ensure Fieldbase always communicates clear USPs to customers.
What We're Looking For
- A technically inclined sales professional — ideally someone with hands-on familiarity with networking or power/solar systems.
- Strong understanding of products like Starlink, Mikrotik, TP-Link, Peplink, Victron, inverters, MPPTs, BMS units, and related accessories.
- Experience in e-commerce, tech retail, or a technical pre-sales environment.
- Excellent communication skills, customer empathy, and the ability to simplify technical concepts for buyers.
- A proactive operator who can identify prospects, start conversations, and close deals.
