Role Overview

The Business Development & Sales Officer will be responsible for driving business growth, generating leads, securing new event contracts, managing client relationships, and boosting revenue for the cocktail and event drinks brand. This role requires creativity, strong networking skills, and a results-driven approach to position the brand as a top choice for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and social functions across Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Sales Growth

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the events and hospitality industry.

* Develop and execute sales strategies to increase event bookings and brand visibility.

* Present and pitch cocktail and drinks services to event planners, wedding coordinators, corporate clients, and individuals.

  1. Lead Generation & Conversion

* Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through networking, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.

* Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.

  1. Client Relationship Management

* Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

* Provide excellent customer service throughout the event lifecycle.

* Collect feedback and promptly resolve client concerns or service issues.

  1. Marketing & Brand Promotion Support

* Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotions, campaigns, and brand activations.

* Represent the brand at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.

* Contribute creative content ideas that highlight the brand's offerings and experiences.

  1. Reporting & Market Intelligence

* Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, tracking performance and pipeline progress.

* Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, and market trends.

* Recommend innovative strategies to drive customer engagement and increase revenue.

Skills & Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

* Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or any related field.

* 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client management — preferably in the events, hospitality, or beverage industry.

Core Skills & Competencies

* Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals.

* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

* Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.

* Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management skills.
