We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales and Partnerships, to define and execute our B2B sales and partnership strategy. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by expanding the adoption of our bill payment and virtual card API solutions across large businesses, and platform partners. The ideal candidate will build a strong pipeline, secure high-value clients, and establish long-term commercial relationships that scale the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the B2B sales and partnerships strategy to drive commercial growth.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact enterprise opportunities and strategic ecosystem partners.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients and partnership opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and executive-level meetings to strengthen market presence.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on API solution design, technical scoping, and onboarding.
  • Oversee partner enablement, account management, and long-term relationship development.
  • Track sales performance, forecast revenue, and deliver accurate commercial reporting.

Required Competencies

  • 5+ years of B2B experience in sales, business development, or partnerships.
  • Proven success selling payment infrastructure, API platforms, fintech products, or virtual card solutions.
  • Strong understanding of digital payments workflows, financial operations, billing systems, or transactional platforms.
  • Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and experience closing large enterprise deals.
  • Ability to build and sustain long-term executive-level relationships.

Person Specification

  • Background in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships within high-growth or scaling organizations.
  • Strong exposure to fintech, payments, digital financial services, or API-led technology companies.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
