Role Description

This is a Contract on-site role (6-8 hours per week) located in Port Harcourt for a Social Media Management Course Tutor. The role involves creating and delivering structured course content, teaching strategies on social media marketing and optimization, and mentoring students to improve their skills. The tutor will be responsible for designing lesson plans, conducting assessments, and staying updated on the latest social media trends and tools to ensure students receive relevant, industry-standard training. The tutor would also be expected to create a course on our learning management system and earn on a percentage basis.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Experience in Content Strategy and Writing
  • Prior experience creating and recording an online course
  • Strong verbal and written Communication skills
  • Familiarity with teaching or mentoring roles is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to develop engaging course materials
  • Knowledge of current social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools
  • Content Design: Canva, Adobe Express
  • Must be conversant with MetaBusiness Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite
