We are seeking an experienced and highly organized 
Senior Project Manager – Fibre
 to oversee multiple fibre network projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost control.

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager – Fibre will be responsible for managing large-scale fibre optic network projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring all deliverables meet technical, financial, and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of fibre network deployment projects (OSP and ISP) in line with company objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation frameworks.
  • Supervise project engineers, site supervisors, and field teams to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project implementation and compliance.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee fibre route design, documentation, and as-built verification.
  • Ensure efficient coordination between Network Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and HSE units.
  • Review and approve project reports, BOQs, test results, and site documentation.
  • Support business development by providing technical insights, cost estimations, and project feasibility inputs.
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and field engineers to build internal capacity.

Requirements

  • B.Eng or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 
    7 years' progressive experience
     managing fibre optic network projects, with at least 
    3 years in a senior project management role
    .
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale telecom infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of fibre design, deployment, splicing, and OTDR testing processes.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management tools; experience with GIS or AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
