Our client is a leading travel and tour agency based in Ikoyi, Lagos, specializing in domestic and international travel services. Their offerings include flights, tour packages, hotel bookings, and cruise experiences. The company is committed to delivering premium travel solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

Purpose of the Role:

The Travels/Cruise Specialist will focus on driving sales and managing bookings specifically for travel and cruise services. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the travel industry with a proven track record in selling cruise packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell and manage cruise packages, including itineraries, accommodations, and travel add-ons.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individual and corporate clients to generate repeat business.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the cruise and travel segment.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and promotional packages for clients.
  • Coordinate with travel providers, hotels, and cruise lines to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track bookings, reservations, and client preferences in company systems.
  • Provide clients with travel guidance, documentation support, and updates on itinerary changes.
  • Stay informed on trends, promotions, and offerings in the cruise and travel industry.
  • Achieve set sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the travel and tour industry.
  • Proven experience selling cruise packages and other travel services.
  • Knowledge of GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Amadeus and Galileo is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Immediate availability to join the team.
