Business Manager Retail - (North)Ardova PlcSalesAbuja Full TimeMining, Energy & Metals ConfidentialMinimum Qualification :Experience Level : Senior levelExperience Length : 7 yearsJob Description/RequirementsRole DescriptionThe job holder is responsible for coordinating sales activities, and developing and implementing strategies and plans to achieve targeted sales performance across Company-Operated Outlets within the designated region. The role also involves optimizing company assets to drive sales and marketing of all company products, while providing leadership and guidance to the Regional Marketing Associates (RMAs) to ensure delivery of set objectives.The ideal candidate should be based in or have close proximity to the following locations: Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Kano, Nassarawa, Gusau, Yola, and Borno.Responsibilities:Business development of the company operated outlets in the region.Provision of mentorship to RMAsLead the drive for the growth of AP's market share in the regionEnsure compliance is maintained with AP's policies in operation area.Deliver on volume, revenue, profit and OPEX set targetsProvide leadership to the team to foster collaboration needed to function as a unit.Relationship management with key stakeholders.Drive regulatory compliance within area of operation.Set budgets and conduct periodic performance appraisal for RMAsEnsure compliance with HSE standards across all retail outlets in the regionLiaise with Terminal operations and fleet to ensure product availability and optimal stock quantities for the stationsPropose product prices to drive profitability and revenue.Keep abreast of industry and market trends, as well as competition at the regional level to support strategic decision makingDrive the deployment of effective strategies to increase footfall at the retail outlets and strengthen the brand.Participate in business development activities throughout the retail space.Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements in business operations across the regionPerform other duties as assigned by the Line ManagerEducationA bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2.2 in marketing, business administration, or related field.Experience7-10 years relevant experienceSkillsAble to present and express information effectively and also responds positively to feedbackGood knowledge of Ardova's products and servicesGood customer service, relationship management tools, networking/teaming skillsGood understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations. Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.Thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.Applies innovative solutions to problems and improve internal processes.Good people management skills, supervisory, coaching and mentoring skills.
