Role Description

NairaPoint is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at our Lagos Island location. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, maintaining and optimizing software development pipelines, managing system administration tasks, and ensuring operational efficiency. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive seamless integration and deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automating and managing infrastructure.
  • Experience in Software Development and Continuous Integration practices.
  • Strong expertise in System Administration, particularly for Linux environments.
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Solid scripting kills (Python, Bash. or Powershell).
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working in financial technology or a similar industry is advantageous.
