Frontend / Mobile Web Developer 3–4 Month MVP Contract (With Option for Full-Time)

We're building a lightweight mobile-first web application designed to run seamlessly on low-end devices and inside Android WebView. We are looking for a pragmatic, product-oriented frontend developer to work closely with our full-stack engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Build a mobile-first web interface with simple, fast user flows.
  • Develop clean and responsive UI that works inside an Android WebView wrapper.
  • Implement web-based photo capture/upload and integrate it into backend flows.
  • Work with lightweight PoC data setups (Airtable/Sheets) and later connect to backend services.
  • Ensure reliability on low bandwidth, low-end devices, and unstable networks.
  • Collaborate on UX simplification and continuous iteration during the MVP sprint.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with React, , Vue, or similar JS framework.
  • Deep understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Experience building web apps that integrate photo/file uploads.
  • Ability to deliver clean UI/UX with minimal components and fast load times.
  • Comfortable working closely with backend and product teams in rapid cycles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating basic OCR-driven UX.
  • Experience working with low-end Android devices or WebView-based mobile interfaces.
  • Familiarity with transactional interfaces: lists, status indicators, simple verification flows.
  • Startup or MVP-stage experience.
