Job Description

Oversee the fleet to ensure good use and condition of the ALERZO fleet (cars, vans, trucks and motorbikes in principle).

 Manage the drivers and complete their evaluations in a timely manner.

Monitor the fuel usage and report immediately any discrepancies in the fuel usage of any vehicle or motorcycle.

  Liaise with local mechanics and fuel providers to ensure ALERZO is receiving quality diesel, petrol, spare parts and vehicle maintenance.

Assist in the completion of the fuel tracking sheets for the monthly fleet process report.

Ensure vehicles have working accessories, adequate spares, working seat belts, jack, c-caution, fire extinguisher etc.

 Manage and assign the vehicle list for the ALERZO with updates of assigning or reassigning fleet to drivers.

  Complete the vehicle Supply Chain report in conjunction with the fleet supervisor in charge of the warehouse.

Ensure that the vehicles are properly secured and fueled.

Prior to each departure, check for any security notice or directives for delivery area and plan movements in response.

 Organize and supervise the daily fleet inspection (confirming documents, equipment, adequate fluids and fuel)

Qualifications

Bsc in Transport/ logistics or Business Management.

Atleast two years experience as a Fleet Officer

Excellent reporting skills 

Good and adequate knowledge of route and vehicle usage.
