Company Description

Voice to the Street (VTS) is a youth-led NGO founded in 2015 to empower street, out-of-school, and marginalized children across Nigeria through education, vocational training, advocacy, mentorship, foster care, and technology. With alignment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 for Quality Education, VTS focuses on children in urban slums and streets, providing them with access to learning, skills, healthcare, and opportunities for transformation. The organization has directly impacted over 5,000 children and indirectly reached over 10,000 through holistic and sustainable interventions. Supported by over 80 dedicated staff and volunteers, VTS transforms lives through six core pillars, including education, entrepreneurship, foster care, digital skills training, advocacy campaigns, and annual community projects. Together, VTS empowers children and families to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting change within their communities.

Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual content and graphics that align with VTS's mission and campaigns. Day-to-day tasks will include developing creative designs and producing content for online and offline platforms. Collaborating with the team, the designer will contribute to the visual storytelling of VTS to amplify its advocacy and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in social media graphic design
  • Strong skills in raster and vector graphics development
  • Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality designs
  • Experience with standard graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment
  • Passion for humanitarian work or prior experience in advocacy or nonprofit organizations is a plus
