Internal Audit – Hospitality Industry (Benin City)

We are a reputable hospitality group seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Internal Audit to join our team in Benin City.

The ideal candidate will lead our internal audit function, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and implement risk-based audit strategies aligned with business objectives.


• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.


• Identify, assess, and recommend mitigation strategies for financial and operational risks.


• Investigate anomalies, detect and prevent fraud, and recommend corrective actions.


• Evaluate and improve internal control systems and governance frameworks.


• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory regulations.


• Present comprehensive audit reports to the Board Audit Committee and General Manager.


• Follow up on audit recommendations and provide strategic advisory support.

Qualifications & Experience


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.


• 2–5 years of experience in a similar internal audit role, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.


• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Compensation: ₦350,000 Gross per month

Location: Benin City, Edo State
