Key Responsibilities:Operational Management Oversee day -to -day operations of bottled and sachet water production lines.· Ensure efficient and timely production, meeting daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.· Manage water treatment systems, filtration, bottling/sachet filling, capping/sealing, and packaging operations.Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance· Implement and maintain rigorous quality control and hygiene protocols.· Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, ISO, and other statutory regulations.· Coordinate periodic lab testing for microbial, physical, and chemical water parameters.Plant Maintenance & Utilities· Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery and utilities (blowers, compressors, UV treatment, RO systems, etc.).People & Performance Management· Lead and supervise production supervisors, technicians, machine operators, and other support staff.· Monitor employee performance, provide training, and enforce discipline and safety practices.Inventory & Cost Control· Manage raw materials (preforms, sachet rolls, caps, labels, chemicals) and packaging materials.· Optimize resource utilization to reduce wastage and cost per unit.Safety & Hygiene· Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and personal hygiene standards.· Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Coordination & Reporting· Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and HR departments.· Prepare daily production reports, yield analysis, and machine utilization reports for top management. RequirementsEducational Qualifications:· B.Sc./B.Eng. in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.· Certifications in food safety, water treatment, or GMP/HACCP – preferred.Experience:· Minimum 8–10 years in beverage/water production.· At least 3–5 years in a factory management or plant head role.Skills & Competencies:· In -depth knowledge of bottled and sachet water production processes.· Familiarity with water treatment (RO, UV, Ozonation), filling machines, and packaging systems.· Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.· Proficient in using ERP systems and production planning tools.· Sound understanding of NAFDAC, SON, and ISO 22000 standards.Behavioral Traits:· Detail -oriented and hands -on leadership style.· Proactive problem -solver with a continuous improvement mindset.· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production lines.
