Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager at a luxury spa located in Lekki. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, spearheading initiatives to expand the client base, building client relationships, increasing revenue, and executing sales strategies. Day-to-day tasks include researching market trends, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the team to ensure alignment with the brand's objectives. The role requires proactive outreach to potential partners and clients to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (HND also acceptable)
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or a related role
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business targets
  • Strong proficiency in social media marketing, including platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Conversant with the Lagos business environment, including local market dynamics and networking opportunities
  • Business Development and Sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and negotiation
  • Market Research and Strategic Planning skills to analyze trends and develop actionable growth strategies
  • Interpersonal and Communication skills, including relationship-building, networking, and presentation abilities
  • Organisational and Project Management skills to ensure smooth coordination of deliverables and priorities
  • Industry knowledge or experience in luxury services or spa-related businesses is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and financial modeling tools
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment
