Our client provides affordable, solar-powered refrigeration and ice-making solutions using Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) financing. Due to expansion they currently need a FINANCE ASSOCIATE. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate to support project budgeting, financial analysis, donor-funded projects, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial controls. ​

LOCATION:
Lagos Responsibilities
• Develop and manage budgets for projects and grants.
• Prepare project budgets, cost structures, and financial schedules.
• Review financial assumptions and validate project costs.
• Provide financial input for proposals and business development opportunities.
• Develop costing models and financial tools.
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
• Conduct budget-versus-actual analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, funding, and donor disbursements.
• Support financial forecasting and budget revisions.
• Prepare accurate financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal policies.
• Support audits and financial reviews.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Develop and improve financial trackers and reporting tools.
• Provide financial guidance to project and non-finance teams. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in project finance, budgeting, financial analysis, grants management, or related areas.
• Experience with donor-funded projects or grants is an advantage.
• Experience in proposal budgeting and financial modelling.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to develop and maintain financial models.
• Knowledge of donor financial requirements is an advantage.
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems is desirable.
• ACCA, ICAN, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
