Location:
Port-Harcourt and Warri Role Description The Annuity Business Manager is responsible for leading and growing the annuity portfolio within Cornerstone Insurance Plc. This individual oversees product performance, develops and executes business strategies, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for annuity offerings. Day-to-day tasks include managing relationships with brokers and partners, conducting market and competitor analysis, monitoring sales activities, and preparing performance reports and forecasts. The role also involves collaborating with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and customer service teams to optimize product design, pricing, and customer experience. The Annuity Business Manager supports recruitment and training and guidance for sales teams, promotes operational efficiency, and drives initiatives to increase customer retention and sustainable business growth. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of annuity products, life insurance, and pension-related solutions, with experience managing insurance or financial services portfolios.
• Proficiency in business development and sales management, including target setting, pipeline management, and relationship building with clients, brokers, and partners.
• Ability to conduct market research, data analysis, and performance reporting to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Nigerian insurance sector, especially NAICOM guidelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team coordination, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
• Must reside in either Warri or Port-Harcourt.
• Prior experience in retail sales-annuity business, life insurance, or pension administration, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
