Role Description The Compliance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for monitoring and ensuring organizational adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing business processes for compliance risks, maintaining and updating compliance frameworks, and preparing reports for management. The Compliance Officer will conduct regular audits and inspections, support internal and external regulatory reviews, and recommend corrective actions when needed. The role also involves training employees on compliance requirements, collaborating with finance and operations teams, and staying current with regulatory changes affecting the company. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex regulations and data.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance to understand the impact of compliance on financial operations.
• Relevant qualification in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within a corporate or regulated environment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are important.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and report-writing software is an advantage.
