Role Description The Insurance Advisor is a full-time role based in Lagos with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves advising clients on suitable insurance products, explaining policy features, coverage options, and pricing, and helping clients make informed financial protection decisions. The Insurance Advisor will engage with prospective and existing clients, conduct needs assessments, prepare quotations, and support policy onboarding and renewals. Daily tasks include responding to client inquiries, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and working with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications and claims. The role also includes contributing to sales targets, participating in marketing and outreach activities, and staying updated on relevant insurance and financial regulations. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Insurance and Finance, with the ability to explain products and financial concepts clearly.
• Background in Consulting or advisory services, with skills in needs analysis, problem-solving, and client-focused recommendations.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including empathy, responsiveness, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse clients and stakeholders professionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet performance and compliance standards.
