About the Role
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Retail Sales Associate in Abuja. You will be the face of NACK Apparel to our customers, welcoming them, understanding what they need, and helping them find the right pieces. Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist customers, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products
• Provide accurate product information and answer customer questions
• Handle sales transactions, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts
• Handle basic customer concerns and returns, and escalate complex issues to the right person
• Keep the store clean, organised, and welcoming
• Restock shelves, update product displays, and check inventory levels
• Work towards sales targets and prepare daily sales reports
• Work with colleagues to keep store operations running smoothly Qualifications
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers professionally and build good relationships
• Basic sales and retail skills, including product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling
• Basic cash handling and POS skills, with attention to accuracy in payments and records
• Good organisation and time management, able to handle several customer requests at once
• Clear verbal communication, and the ability to follow instructions and store policies consistently
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous retail, sales, or customer-facing experience is an advantage. Willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• This role is on-your-feet and involves moving stock. You’ll work a rota that includes weekends and public holidays, with days off during the week.
