Role Description The Shop Floor Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with some flexibility for work from home. This role oversees day-to-day shop floor operations, ensuring products are well-displayed, inventoried, and presented to customers in an organized and engaging manner. Responsibilities include coordinating stock intake and transfers, monitoring product quality, supporting creators with merchandising needs, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Shop Floor Executive interacts with customers, answers product inquiries, and supports sales efforts, while also tracking basic operational metrics and reporting issues or opportunities to management. The role involves close collaboration with creators, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and a consistent brand experience. Qualifications
• Experience in retail or shop floor operations, including inventory handling, merchandising, and basic stock control.
• Customer service skills and the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with diverse customers and creators.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks on a busy shop floor.
• Basic data recording and reporting skills, including use of spreadsheets or simple point-of-sale or inventory systems.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfort with a hybrid work arrangement, including reliable availability on-site in Lagos and the ability to complete some tasks remotely.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment is an advantage.
• Interest in locally made products, Nigerian creativity, and supporting small businesses and creators.
• Minimum of a secondary school certificate; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is an added benefit.
