Role Description The Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including developing sourcing strategies, identifying and evaluating suppliers, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The Procurement Manager will oversee the procurement process for goods and services, ensure compliance with company policies, and support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing and reviewing contracts, negotiating terms and pricing, tracking purchase orders, and monitoring supplier performance. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to understand requirements, analyzing procurement data to inform decisions, and continuously improving procurement processes. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Procurement skills, including experience with purchasing processes and sourcing strategies.
• Candidates should possess Supplier Evaluation and Analytical Skills to assess vendor capabilities, compare proposals, and make data-driven decisions.
• Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation and Contract Management skills to secure favorable terms and manage agreements throughout their lifecycle.
• Candidates should have solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in a commercial or corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with procurement or ERP software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
