Plant & Maintenance Manager – Agricultural Background

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Plant & Maintenance Manager to oversee the Company’s production and rice milling operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, plant efficiency, and operational continuity are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production and rice milling operations to meet output, yield, efficiency, and quality targets. Develop production plans and monitor performance, downtime, wastage, and operational costs. Ensure effective utilization of plant, equipment, manpower, and production materials. Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Work with Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, health, safety, and environmental standards. Identify production challenges and implement corrective and continuous improvement measures. Lead and manage production teams, ensuring accountability and high performance. Prepare regular production reports and provide recommendations to Management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. 10–15 years' relevant experience, preferably in a rice milling or manufacturing environment. At least 5 years in a senior plant/production management role. Strong knowledge of rice milling operations, production planning, yield and efficiency management. Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
