Role Description The Analyst role at Honesty Information Technology is a full-time, on-site position based in Bida. The Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret technical and operational data to support decision-making across service areas such as hardware and software support, maintenance, and network services. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, reviewing service tickets, identifying patterns in incidents, and preparing reports that highlight risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. The role also involves collaborating with technical teams to refine processes, maintain accurate asset and warranty records, and support planning for IT resources and service delivery. The Analyst will communicate findings to management and contribute to the continuous enhancement of customer service quality and operational reliability.
Qualifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical and operational data and generate actionable insights.
• Familiarity with IT support environments, including hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and service ticket management.
• Basic understanding of networking, cabling, telephony, web technologies, and security concepts such as antivirus, endpoint protection, and access control.
• Competence in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, spreadsheets, or BI tools) and experience creating clear, concise reports and dashboards.
• Solid organizational skills, including inventory tracking, documentation, and warranty or asset management.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an IT support, operations, or business analysis role is beneficial; experience with CCTV, web development projects, or outsourcing environments is a plus.
