Role Description – German Tutor (On-site, Lagos) The German Tutor role is a partl-time, on-site position based in Surulere, Lagos. The tutor will plan and deliver engaging German language lessons for learners at various proficiency levels, using a range of teaching methods and resources. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, assessing learner progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The tutor will support learners in speaking, reading, writing, and listening in German, while also introducing relevant cultural context. Collaboration with other tutors and participation in school activities and trainings are also part of the role. Qualifications – German Tutor
• Strong German language proficiency and experience in German Teaching or Tutoring.
• Background in Education and effective Communication skills with diverse learners.
• Ability to design structured lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to different levels.
• Prior classroom or language school experience is an advantage.
• Relevant degree or certification in German, Education, Linguistics, or related field preferred.
• Organizational skills and reliability in managing schedules and learner records.
• Willingness to work on-site in Surulere, Lagos and participate in professional development.
