Role Description The Scrum Master is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lekki, responsible for facilitating Agile practices and ensuring effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. This role includes organizing and leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while removing impediments that may affect team progress. The Scrum Master will coach team members on Agile principles, support the creation and refinement of user stories, and work closely with product owners and developers to maintain clear priorities and a well-groomed backlog. The role also involves monitoring sprint performance, using metrics to identify areas for improvement, and promoting a culture of continuous learning, transparency, and accountability. The Scrum Master will collaborate with stakeholders to improve delivery processes and ensure that software development efforts are aligned with business goals. Qualifications
- Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive efficient Sprint Planning, ensuring clear goals and team alignment.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret sprint metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent Communication skills to engage with team members, stakeholders, and clients, promoting clarity and collaboration.
- Experience working with User Stories, including defining, refining, and prioritizing the backlog with product owners and teams.
- Understanding of Software Development processes and lifecycles, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator in a technology or digital solutions environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work hybrid in Lekki and collaborate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
