This is a lead-driven and conversion sales and customer acquisition role for someone who understands that generating leads is only the beginning. Your primary responsibility will be to take potential customers from the point of enquiry through consistent engagement, qualification, follow-up, negotiation, and ultimately conversion into paying customers. The successful candidate will work across leads generated through social media, digital campaigns, online enquiries, referrals, walk-ins, telephone enquiries, WhatsApp, website enquiries, and other business channels, ensuring that opportunities are properly followed up and maximised. You will be expected to understand where leads are coming from, respond quickly, identify genuine buying intent, build relationships, overcome objections, maintain consistent follow-up, and develop effective strategies for converting prospects into customers. This role requires someone who is sales-driven, persistent, organised, persuasive, customer-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable working with high volumes of leads and follow-ups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Management & Conversion
- Take ownership of incoming leads and customer enquiries from multiple channels.
- Respond promptly and professionally to new enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, and other communication channels.
- Contact, qualify, and segment prospects based on their needs, buying intent, budget, timeline, and vehicle requirements.
- Follow up consistently with prospects who have expressed interest but have not yet converted.
- Develop structured follow-up strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Identify high-intent prospects and prioritise them appropriately.
- Re-engage cold, inactive, or previously unresponsive leads.
- Maintain accurate records of every prospect and the status of each opportunity.
- Ensure no qualified lead is neglected, forgotten, or left without appropriate follow-up.
- Track prospects from initial enquiry through consultation, test drive, quotation, negotiation, booking, payment, and final conversion. Customer Acquisition & Sales
- Convert qualified leads into vehicle sales and other relevant automotive business opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles, products, or services.
- Clearly communicate vehicle features, benefits, pricing, financing options, availability, and value propositions.
- Conduct persuasive product presentations and sales conversations.
- Arrange and coordinate test drives, showroom visits, consultations, and other customer interactions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate professionally with prospects while protecting the company's commercial interests.
- Handle objections relating to price, financing, vehicle specifications, availability, competitors, and purchase timing.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant automotive products and services.
- Maintain relationships with prospects who are not immediately ready to purchase and nurture them toward future conversion. Social Media & Digital Lead Generation The role will have a strong connection to the company's digital and social media activities. You will:
- Monitor leads and enquiries generated from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, websites, online campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Respond to prospective customers who engage with automotive content.
- Identify potential buyers from social media interactions, comments, direct messages, enquiries, and campaign responses.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Social Media teams to understand which campaigns and content generate the strongest leads.
- Provide feedback on the quality and intent of leads generated from different platforms.
- Recommend content, campaigns, offers, or customer engagement strategies that could improve lead generation and conversion.
- Follow up on social media enquiries and move interested prospects from online interaction into direct sales conversations.
- Identify recurring customer questions and objections and provide insights that can improve future content and campaigns.
- Support the development of customer-focused digital sales initiatives. Sales Funnel Management
- Maintain a clear and up-to-date pipeline of prospects.
- Categorise leads according to stages such as new enquiry, contacted, qualified, interested, test drive scheduled, quotation sent, negotiation, booking, and converted.
- Monitor movement of leads through the sales funnel.
- Identify where prospects are dropping off and recommend strategies to improve conversion.
- Track conversion rates and follow-up performance.
- Ensure prospects receive timely communication at every stage of the customer journey.
- Maintain accurate information in the company's CRM, lead management system, spreadsheets, or other designated tools. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong and professional relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide personalised recommendations.
- Maintain communication throughout the buying journey.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience from first contact through purchase and after-sales follow-up.
- Follow up with customers after purchase to strengthen relationships and encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Develop a strong network of potential customers, corporate clients, fleet customers, and other relevant business contacts. Business Development
- Identify new customer acquisition opportunities within the automotive market.
- Research and identify potential individual, corporate, fleet, and institutional customers.
- Develop relationships with potential business partners and referral sources.
- Explore opportunities for corporate vehicle sales, fleet purchases, leasing, mobility solutions, and other relevant business opportunities.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, customer preferences, pricing, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide recommendations to management on opportunities for improving customer acquisition and sales conversion. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS This is a target-driven role. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate measurable performance across:
