Job Title Mobile App Developer (Contract) Employment Type Contract (Fixed-Term / Project-Based) Reporting To Project Manager / Head of Technology / Product Manager Contract Duration 3–12 months (renewable based on project needs and performance) Work Arrangement Remote / Hybrid / On-site (as applicable) Job Purpose The Mobile App Developer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that meet business and user requirements. The developer will collaborate with designers, product managers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android, iOS, or cross-platform environments.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and functional mobile applications.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Identify and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store where applicable.
- Provide technical documentation and periodic progress reports.
- Offer post-deployment support during the contract period. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience developing mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating completed mobile application projects. Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift, or similar mobile development technologies.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON-based services.
- Familiarity with Firebase or similar backend services.
- Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Knowledge of local data storage technologies (SQLite, Hive, Realm, etc.).
- Understanding of mobile security principles.
- Experience with app deployment and release management. Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience implementing push notifications and analytics.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and authentication systems. Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to meet project deadlines. Deliverables The Mobile App Developer shall be responsible for delivering:
- Functional mobile application(s) according to approved specifications.
- Source code committed to the organization's repository.
- Technical documentation.
- Test reports and bug fixes.
- Deployment to designated app stores or enterprise distribution platforms.
- Knowledge transfer and handover documentation upon contract completion. Performance Indicators Performance will be assessed based on:
- Timely delivery of agreed milestones.
- Code quality and adherence to development standards.
- Number and severity of defects after release.
- Application performance and stability.
- Compliance with security and quality requirements.
- Responsiveness to issue resolution.
- Effective collaboration with project stakeholders. Confidentiality The contractor shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, software, data, intellectual property, and business processes accessed during the engagement. Intellectual Property All source code, documentation, designs, databases, and software developed under this contract shall remain the exclusive property of the contracting organization unless otherwise agreed in writing. Contract Terms
- Payment shall be based on agreed milestones or monthly deliverables.
- The contractor shall provide regular progress updates.
- The organization reserves the right to terminate the contract in accordance with the termination clause.
- Any subcontracting requires prior written approval from the organization. Tools and Technologies Depending on project requirements, the developer may be required to use:

- CI/CD tools Start Date To be agreed upon by both parties. Compensation Compensation shall be negotiated based on experience, project scope, duration, and agreed deliverables. Pay: ₦300,000.00
