Sales Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Clock In and Out attendance
- Change into clean and well ironed uniforms
- Ensure the shop and its surroundings are swept and mopped; and cleaning of assigned shelves and products
- Ensure consistent stocking of branch/sections’ 400 top selling products
- Ensure that assigned shelves are adequately stocked. No under/over stocking. Be responsible for generating out of stock list. Only 5% out of stock situation is allowed
- Ensure the elimination of thefts and pilfering by staff or customers. Zero tolerance; Violators will be prosecuted
- Ensure products are properly displayed and are kept clean, free from dust, dirt and grease and packs remains wholesome
- Receive, sign products transfer papers and properly merchandise products at assigned sections
- Check for expiry dates and notify the Manager of all short dated products for further action.
- Ensure all products in assigned section are price tagged and eliminate same products price discrepancies.
- Stock Rotation: Ensure the principle of first in first out is applied on all items merchandised in the assigned section; that is, Old items on the shelf must be sold first before new items. The new items therefore must be displayed behind old items on the shelf
- Welcome customers into the store and give excellent customer service always
- Assist customers by directing them to the section where inquired items are displayed
- Professionally aid customers in making choice of products to purchase, using your superior product knowledge
- Attend to customers complaints and channel same to the right personnel for a quick resolution
- Meeting established sales objectives by selling products and services
- Give competitive reports on pricing, new product ranges to Branch Head Pharmacist and Branch Manager
- Ensure to always present a pleasant disposition.
- Carryout periodic stock count in the branch
- Any other assigned duty
KEY REQUREMENTS:
- SSCE, NCE, OND
- 1-2yrs experience in retail sales
- Strong team spirit
- Verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to multitask
- Must be computer literate
- Must be a Female for gender balance
- Must reside in IKeja or Ajah and it environs or be willing to make the commute
