JOB SUMMARY

RequirementsBSc degree in Accounting or Finance An ACA qualification will be an advantage5 years experience in internal control and audit in manufacturing Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor   Prior work experience in using an ERP system (Odoo etc.) and Office 365   Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and industry regulationsStrong knowledge of implementing policies and SOP Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databasesHigh attention to detail and excellent analytical skills Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.Sound independent judgment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Internal Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment through the development of policies and procedures, ensuring their implementation and auditing for compliance.The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across the organizations business processes and internal control.Compliance:Developing and implementing effective compliance programs in the organization.Ensure that the organization is compliant with relevant laws and requirements. – Government, Agencies, Auditors, Investors etc.Assess company operations to identify compliance issues, assess risks, and recommend solutions to rectify the problems.Providing support and guidance to operational teams on issues of compliance.Internal Audit & Control:Conducting regular and comprehensive audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, financial records, and compliance with laws, stakeholders’ regulations and the company’s policies and procedures.Examining financial and operational data of the organization, including detailed testing of transactions and processesPrepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.External Audits:Be the focal person for external audits.Communicate audit requirements to all concerned units.Ensure the preparedness of the company for external audits by working with the concerned teams.Present report of gaps discovered during audit to management.Work with the concerned parties to ensure a prompt close out of gaps.
