JOB SUMMARY

Candidates should possess an Accounting Degree or equivalentPossession of a professional qualification like ACCA or ICAN is an added advantage.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.Skills:Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principlesKnowledge of auditing practices and principlesKnowledge of applicable TAX, Pension laws, codes and regulations.Knowledge and experience of related computer applicationsAbility to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projectionsAttention to details and accuracyStrong communication skillsJudgment and problem-solvingAbility to work under presure

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts on a regular basis.Prepare tax computations and file returnsAssist the finance manager with annual accounts and supporting schedules.Ensuring that every expense is properly documented.Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month and end of every financial year.Perform account reconciliations and analyses,Ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operationsResponsible for the budgetary controlCorresponds with the senior management regarding any financial decisions that are madeDealing with internal and external auditsTaking part in strategic planning and execution process of Supervising factory accounting and financial controlsProviding inputs to Management on key efficiency areas Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships.Factory payroll computation, analysis and reporting for management information.Factory operating cost analysis, capex analysis, project accounting.
