JOB SUMMARY
QualificationsDegree or Diploma in a related field (B.Sc / HND / OND) preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role.Proficiency in heavy-duty equipment repair and diagnostics.Proven leadership skills in managing a team of mechanics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is seeking a Transport Equipment Foreman to oversee the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, adjustment, and overhaul of mobile heavy-duty equipment used in construction and on road (brands include MERCEDES ACTROS, AROCS, VOLVO, VW, HOWO, and XCMG). The role involves leading a team of three mechanics to ensure optimal performance and productivity.Key DutiesOversee repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustments, and overhauls of heavy-duty equipment, ensuring safety and optimal performance.Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.Lead, train, and support a team of three mechanics, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.Handle equipment from brands like MERCEDES ACTROS, AROCS, VOLVO, VW, HOWO, and XCMG.
