Job description
Accounts Management:
- Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employee salaries.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze budgetary variances and recommend corrective actions.
Client and Vendor Relations:
- Manage relationships with clients and vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Process payments and manage billing cycles.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Identify and recommend improvements in financial processes and system
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Certifications: Relevant certification e.g., CPA, ACCA is an added advantage.
