JOB SUMMARY
About You We are looking for applicant with Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 7 years of work experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL), preferably within education/livelihood related programmes with an International NGO. A Master’s Degree is highly essential. The candidate should possess proven expertise in providing leadership to MERL teams, preferably in the areas of education/livelihood projects. S/he should have Knowledge in the use of various survey methods for monitoring of different programs. Additional training and experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) would be an added advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Opportunity The purpose of this role is to oversee and ensure that country-based information is fed into the overall project framework to allow results-based monitoring. S/he will establish and maintain a coherent monitoring approach across the target states - leading the MERL initiatives for the consortium. The Consortium MERL Manager will also be responsible for overall knowledge management and documentation of best practices and lessons learnt from the project. S/he will report to the overall consortium lead with technical line reporting to the Country MERL Manager.
