ABOUT THE COMPANY

Food Concepts Plc was incorporated on 6 December 1999 as Food Concepts & Entertainment Limited and commenced operations in 2000. The Company was converted from a Private Limited Liability Company into a Public Limited Liability Company and the Company’s name was subsequently changed to Food Concepts Plc. by a Special Resolution dated 10 May 2009. Following its incorporation, Food Concepts secured franchises from reputable South African Quick Service Restaurant operators to manage and operate their brands in Nigeria. The Company subsequently acquired and developed other Brands, such as, Chicken Republic, PieXpress, Butterfield, Yum Yum and The Chop Box. Following a corporate restructuring and divestment, the Company now owns and operates the Chicken Republic, PieXpress and The Chop Box brands as its proprietary food brands. Chicken Republic is currently trading in 129 locations across Nigeria and Ghana and has plans in place to operate 430 stores by the end of 2024. PieXpress began trading in 2019 and we presently operate 48 stores in Nigeria, with plans in place to operate 247 PieXpress units by the end of 2024. We recently launched our new brand, The Chop Box and presently have one outlet in Lagos.

JOB SUMMARY

Key Performance Indicators:IT System uptime/downtimeMean Time Between FaultsMean Time to ResolveNumber of system breaches due to virus attacks and or breachesNetwork Uptime/downtimeKnowledge & CompetenciesERP – Oracle, MicrosIRP softwareJob SpecificationsMinimum of University Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplinePossession of any relevant IT certificationMinimum of 3 years relevant experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Systems:Support Restaurant managers work with other management staff to determine and implement specific technical needs and priorities of the organizationDirect staff, determine necessary technology advances and educate staff on the use of software /hardware systems in the organization's day-to-day operationsMonitor systems to detect deficiencies, and recommend changes and solutionsGenerate innovative solutions, which continuously improve the performance of existing resources, processes or servicesConduct training for Restaurant Managers and employees on new IT infrastructure implement or new IT trend in the industryBasic database management skillsUnderstanding of different POS hardware/terminalsrepairing equipment and replacing partsplanning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgradesAbility to manage AD users and object preferably windows server 2008r2IT Operations:Challenge others when the values are not demonstrate. Develop, Train and give feedback to subordinates where applicable.Conduct training for Restaurant Managers and employees on new IT infrastructure implement or new IT trend in the industryShare information, knowledge and experience freely with othersFully understand the set-up and operations of all Enterprise Solutions acquired and used by Food Concepts PlcProvide first level support to all users within the agreed timeframeExecute system control functions as requested by (and on behalf of) business ownersSupport Business Managers when they train their new staff on the use of the use of the system, by providing required intellectual assistance, software, hardware and/or training materialsUpdate all relevant documentation (including Process Manuals, Training Manuals, Policy Documents, Configuration documents etc) required for the effective use of all enterprise solutionsPrepare for and support the implementation of new enterprise solutions and/or the addition of new modules of existing enterprise solutionsEnsure store wide reporting
