Job Description

  • We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Outbound Lead Sales Associate to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, and have a strong ability to identify and engage potential African brands interested in partnering with Craftmerce.
  • As an Outbound Lead Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in expanding our network of African brands and driving growth for Craftmerce.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential African brands that align with Craftmerce's mission and values. Utilize various channels, such as online platforms, industry directories, and social media, to generate leads.
  • Outbound Sales Outreach: Initiate contact with leads through personalized emails, phone calls, and social media messages. Introduce Craftmerce's platform and value proposition, highlighting the benefits of partnering with us.
  • Relationship Building: Build rapport and establish relationships with African brands through effective communication and follow-up. Understand their needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Product Presentation: Present Craftmerce's platform and services to potential African brands, emphasizing the unique features, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Showcase success stories and case studies to demonstrate the value of partnering with Craftmerce.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and agreements with African brands, including pricing, contract terms, and partnership details. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and the feasibility of partnerships.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a detailed pipeline of leads and opportunities, tracking progress and updating information in Craftmerce's CRM system. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in the e-commerce or B2B marketplace industry.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market reach.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Knowledge of African markets,handcrafted artisanal brands,cultures, and industries is a plus.
