Job Description:

The Electrical Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of electrical equipment in the plant. This includes planning and executing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing technical expertise to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure equipment availability and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Provide technical expertise to the team and oversee the performance of technical staff
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with production and operation departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Ensure that all electrical equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly
  • Develop and implement a condition monitoring plan to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Develop and implement a greasing schedule for all required equipment
  • Coordinate with production and operation departments to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production
  • Develop and implement a stoppage analysis process to identify and address root causes of equipment breakdowns
  • Develop and implement a training program for technical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Develop and implement a process for identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the production process
  • Develop and implement a process for recording and maintaining motor overhauling history
  • Develop and implement a process for checking and recording earth pit resistance values
  • Develop and implement a process for ensuring the working condition of lightning arrestors and ELCBs
  • Develop and implement a process for preparing emergency power evacuation plans
  • Ensure that all electrical equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 7 years of experience in a related field
  • Good knowledge of cement products and cement manufacturing processes
  • Expert knowledge of maintenance management methods, predictive inspection tools, and SAP
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering
  • Good knowledge of safety legislation and rules
  • Good knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and TPM
  • Good oral and written communication skills
