Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of fixed income securities, including bonds, treasury bills, and other debt instruments.
  • Portfolio Management Support: Assist in the management of fixed income portfolios by providing detailed reports and recommendations based on market trends and financial data.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast the performance of various fixed income instruments.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports, including risk assessments and performance evaluations, to senior management and clients.
  • Monitoring: Track and analyze economic indicators, interest rate trends, and other market factors that may impact the performance of fixed income securities.
  • Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A background in social sciences with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fixed income analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a focus on financial modeling.
  • Good spoken and written English skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering reports to stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to collaborate across various departments and with external partners.
  • Experience or certification in project management will be considered an added advantage.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
