Description

Ensure smooth operations of building facilities, services, and maintenance activities at the designated property managed by the company on a daily basis.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a facilities maintenance schedule for the designated property.
  • Consistently enforce the company's policies and procedures for facilities management to meet the necessary standards.
  • Supervise site staff including technicians, security guards, stewards, cleaners, gardeners, etc., and offer daily guidance to cultivate a high-performance, customer-focused work environment in line with the company's objectives and service standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections with site staff to ensure proper maintenance of all vendor-related services; verify that all building services are fully operational and in excellent condition.
  • Cultivate and sustain a professional rapport with all tenants; work closely with the Unit Head to address and resolve any potential issues related to service provision, occupancy regulations, and tenant maintenance concerns, whether verbal or written.
  • Collect service fees and provide tenants with receipts promptly in collaboration with the Finance department.
  • Ensure timely and adequate maintenance and repairs of facilities.
  • Maintain detailed, precise, and up-to-date records of facility maintenance operations on the property.
  • Supervise maintenance vendors' activities to ensure adherence to agreed service standards.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and implement general and fire risk assessment recommendations on-site.
  • Prepare and deliver regular activity/management reports to the Head of Facilities Management.
  • Foster a professional and cooperative relationship with maintenance service providers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Estate Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in facilities management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with facilities management principles.
  • Understanding of occupational hazards, safety regulations, and rules.
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting and budgeting practices.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid personal organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication proficiencies.
