Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair appliances, including but not limited to Hobs, cookers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and washing machines.
- Installation, maintenance and repair of small kitchen and laundry appliances
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with appliances, providing effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with customer service department to schedule service appointments and provide timely updates on repair status.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they understand the proper use and maintenance of their appliances.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries and provide technical insights during the sales process.
- Stay updated with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during installations and repairs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in appliance repair is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician.
- Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components is a plus.
