Job Overview:

A reputable construction and design company is in search of a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to bolster our financial forecasting, project analysis, and strategic decision-making support. This role plays a crucial part in providing essential financial perspectives that will shape construction projects and strategic endeavors. The ideal candidate should possess robust analytical abilities, proficiency in financial modeling, and a knack for collaborating across different teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed financial models to facilitate decision-making for construction projects and investments.
  • Conduct regular financial forecasts, updating models to reflect changing conditions and project timelines.
  • Offer analytical support for capital allocation decisions, encompassing cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and scenario planning.
  • Collaborate with project managers and department heads to collect data and comprehend the financial implications of project determinations and strategies.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, focusing on significant financial trends, potential risks, and prospects.
  • Assist in the yearly budgeting process and routine reforecasting exercises, guaranteeing alignment with strategic goals.
  • Analyze financial data and produce reports for management that propose solutions to business hurdles.
  • Suggest insights on cost control strategies, profitability enhancements, and operational efficiency refinements.
  • Facilitate in presenting reports to executives, stakeholders, and board members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and the economic landscape to ensure financial practices comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, CPA, etc., would be advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the construction industry or a related sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, coupled with a solid grasp of financial statements and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in utilizing financial software and Office Suites, particularly spreadsheets. Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools is highly valued.
