Our Client, a Pan-African Technology Company, which partners with, and distributes notable brands in the Information and Technology Space is seeking to employ an IT Sales Personnel to join its dynamic team.

The role of the IT Sales Personnel is to be responsible for pitching technical sales proposals to potential clients, negotiating prices and contractual terms, and renewing service agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell Products/Services using solid positive arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain progressive business and customer relationships.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to identify and recommend products to meet their various needs.
  • Achieve agreed Sales targets and outcomes within schedule/timeframe.
  • Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities and developing sales leads.
  • Communicating and making outbound/cold calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Provide Management with regular reports on customer needs, problems, interests, activities of competitors, concerns, and potentials for new products and services.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of Products and Services to existing and potential customers.
  • Keeping informed on technical product specifications and functionalities.
  • Up-selling Products and Services.
  • Providing complete and appropriate solutions for every customer's unique needs, in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability for the Organisation as well as customers.
  • Coordinate Sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Other roles and responsibilities as required by Management.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative; specifically IT inclined persons, with minimum of four 4 years successful IT Products knowledge & Fields Sales experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business and professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and numbers.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Relationship Management skills and openness to feedback.
