Key Responsibilities

Reagent Order Plan:

  • Collaborate with the Application Specialist to efficiently plan reagent orders for Sysmex, Snibe, Agappe, Cepheid, Abbott, and other IVD-related businesses.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor IVD reagent stock levels inventory daily.
  • Monitor Expiration dates with warehouse personnel to ensure we follow the FIFO rule to minimize waste.
  • Initiate purchase orders to prevent shortages while minimizing excess inventory.

Quality Assurance:

  • Work closely with quality personnel to ensure that all purchased reagents comply with required specifications and regulatory standards.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and emerging suppliers to support informed procurement decisions.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
  • Generate and manage reports on stock receipt, supply to customers, stock expiry, and current stock levels.

Training Schedule:

  • 3 Months: IVD Office Training
  • Overview of IVD reagents and their applications.
  • Participate in product training sessions.
  • Analyse sales data to identify fast-moving products and customer demands.
  • Understand the storage requirements for different IVD products.
  • Receive training on cold chain logistics and handling protocols.
  • Learn to differentiate between cold chain and room temperature products.
  • Analyse OEM order plans.
  • Get introduced to forecasting methods.
  • Apply stock planning techniques based on order forecasts.
  • Use inventory management principles to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • 1 Month: Amuwo Odofin Warehouse Training
  • Hands-on training in stock keeping and inventory organization.
  • Learn about stock rotation and expiry management.
  • Understand effective stock-keeping methodologies.
  • Receive training on cold chain monitoring.
  • Learn about temperature tracking devices and their protocols.
  • Gain an overview of logistics processes for cold chain items.
  • Learn proper transportation and handling procedures.
  • Train in packaging techniques for cold chain products.
  • Practice hands-on with packaging materials and methods.
