Job Title: Additive Manufacturing Technician

Join our team as an Additive Manufacturing Technician and play a key role in the development and production of innovative products. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our AM machines, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Load AM material into machines and monitor print queues to ensure efficient production.
  • Maintain AM systems, including removal of components from build platforms and heat treatment.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and achieve highest quality standards.
  • Inspect 3D printer parts for print quality and error.
  • Contribute to best practices in AM process operation and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Technical School with Mechanical/Machinist qualification.
  • Technical certification in Technical Drawings and Metrology.
  • Hands-on experience in machining technology and ability to develop experimental concepts.
  • Experience in mechanical prototyping design and assembly.
  • Ability to operate machine tool machineries and use hand and power tools.
  • Previous experience with 3D printers and additive manufacturing techniques (desired).
Key Requirements
  • Good knowledge of reading drawings and manufacturing technologies.
  • Manual dexterity and practical hands-on skills, competent with hand tools.
  • Ability to handle physical and manual elements of the job.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Requirements
  • Good level of PC literacy and record keeping skills.
  • Previous experience in an engineering/machining environment.
